Wednesday 8th April - Star gazing

Star Gazing - Supermoon 2020

Tonight why not try star gazing with the children.

The next few days be prepared to see the biggest and brightest SUPERMOON of the year.

Supermoons occur when the moon is within 90% of perigee - which is its closest approach to Earth in orbit.

The moon will appear brighter and bigger in the night sky, and hopefully no clouds will obscure your view.

Take a look tonight with the children at April's full moon.

Top Tip: download a star gazing app and bring space down to earth.

Don't forget to upload a photo to facebook of your SUPERMOON photo, tag us and use #THCPhomeclub
