The Lancashire Tourism Awards celebrate the very best visitor attractions, hospitality venues, accommodation providers and family businesses across the county.

The Journey to Winning the Lancashire Tourism Award
The Lancashire Tourism Awards process is highly competitive and involves several stages.
First, we completed a detailed written submission. This included our business growth, visitor experience, community involvement and long-term vision for the future.
After being shortlisted, we presented directly to a panel of judges. The presentation lasted ten minutes and included a detailed question and answer session.
Following the judging process, finalists gathered for the official Lancashire Tourism Awards ceremony. During the evening, Thornton Hall Country Park won the 2026 Family Owned and Run Business award.
This recognition reflects years of dedication, investment and passion from our team. Furthermore, it strengthens our reputation as one of the best family attractions in Lancashire and Yorkshire.
